We work closely with the GLA across our portfolio and have an agreed set of key performance indicators: the economic growth (gross value added) and jobs that we create, the satisfaction of our clients and partners, and our commercial performance.
Purpose of the role
To support on delivery of B2B marketing strategies that are data-led, results focussed, cost effective and meet London & Partners' needs.
To support on delivery on a range of creative business marketing activities to support our range of business products and services.
To work in a fast paced and collaborative environment and support the delivery of impactful marketing across business products and services, events, digital and print.
Working with the Marketing Manager - Business and wider business marketing team, on curating and creating content for our business channels via London & Partners' extensive networks including partners, stakeholders and business influencers.
To collaborate with internal and external contacts to ensure marketing outputs aligns to wider organisational plans, is effective, on brand and high quality.
Key Tasks
· Depending on activity, to manage or assist the delivery of innovative, impactful marketing from inception through to evaluation.
· Work closely with the wider team to scope, create or commission, and distribute content that is informed by audience insight and meets business needs via owned, earned, paid and partner channels.
· Provide professional and efficient marketing support for all business activities, events and trade shows, including producing the marketing around each event such as messaging, copywriting, collateral production and branding.
· Be a workstream lead, including planning and taking responsibility for delivery, of one or more marketing areas, for example:
o Be the point person for London Convention Bureau team in supporting marketing activity over a portfolio of their exhibitions, partner events and site visits.
o Day-to-day use of business social media channels and WhatsApp, working with Social Media Lead to understand audience and channel goals.
o Lead on the creation of London & Partners business newsletters, track performance.
o Liaising with design team on production of campaign material or stakeholder deliverables.
· Any other reasonable duties as allocated by the line manager
You’ll have/bring
· Proficient marketing skills likely a second jobber with interest in destination and hospitality sector
· Committed to continuous learning and evolving with industry best practice
· Desire to work in an agile, collaborative marketing environment and as part of diverse project teams
· Good communication skills, written and verbal
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
· Familiarity with CRM systems e.g., Salesforce is desirable
· Competence with marketing performance monitoring tools such as Google Analytics, Social analytics platforms, Hootsuite is desirable. Willingness to develop these skills is essential
