Job scope:
We are seeking a motivated, creative, and organised Marketing Assistant to join our expanding team. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing to assist in executing campaigns, supporting our retail and spa teams and contributing to overall business initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about beauty, skincare, and wellbeing to become part of a thriving business in a dynamic and exciting industry.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Planning: Supporting the development and implementation of the Marketing & Communications calendar – including seasonal campaign planning, in-store activation and visual merchandising.
- Asset Management: Manage the Wildsmith retailer asset library, ensuring timely and consistent asset delivery in line with retailer needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Support retail and spa teams with timely and impactful campaign and NPD launch packs.
- Digital Marketing Support: Assist in the day-to-day running of the UK social media accounts – monitoring engagement, customer service responses and ad hoc posting as required.
- Marketing Administration: Offer administrative assistance to the marketing team, including meeting organisation, order creation, and updates to marketing calendars and brand presentations.
- Reporting: Review competitors and skincare/wellbeing landscape regularly, reporting back to the business. Helping track and measure marketing campaigns, providing input into monthly reports.
- Forging partnerships with internal stakeholders across Wildsmith’s partner companies.
Experience
- Previous experience in a marketing role / internship desirable, but not essential.
- 6 months – 1 year in a similar role / graduate.
- Familiarity and passion for the beauty and wellbeing industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with third parties and manage multiple partnerships simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and develop innovative ideas.
- Be curious; continually broadening knowledge by keeping up to date with industry innovations and our competitor activity.
- Be nimble and flexible in order to adapt to changing briefs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
