We are seeking a motivated, creative, and organized Marketing Assistant to join our team. The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing department in executing campaigns, coordinating events, managing digital content and supporting the business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about beauty, skincare, and marketing to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, exciting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including professional, digital, influencer, print, social media, and trade promotions.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for social media platforms, newsletters, promotional materials and presentations.
- Market Research: Regularly monitor competitor activity, emerging trends by providing summaries and insights to inform future campaigns.
- Retailer and Event Coordination: Help plan and organize events such as product launches, exhibitions, trade and retailer roadshows.
- Digital Marketing Support: Assist with maintaining the UK social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook) and PRO incentive programme, including updating product information, managing posts, and monitoring engagement. Engage with followers, respond to customer inquiries and help foster a sense of community around the brand.
- Reporting: Help track and analyze campaign performance, preparing regular reports on key metrics, including social media engagement and sales data.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including organizing meetings, creating orders, updating marketing calendars and brand presentations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Experience: Previous experience in a marketing role, internship, or relevant coursework is desirable but not essential.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva).
- Knowledge of social media platforms and basic understanding of content marketing and marketing tools to grow following and engagement.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative and proactive attitude with a passion for the skincare and beauty industry.
