Reporting into the Head of Brand, and managing an assistant, you will be key to achieving our ambitious growth plans. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast growing ecommerce start up with a distinctive DNA in the power of influencer marketing.
This role is ideal for someone who is able to think differently about the use of influencers and content creators, the role they play as part of wider brand marketing efforts, and how they define TALA’s influencer programme and portfolio.
Tasks
Day To Day You Will
- Lead TALA’s Influencer, affiliates, events and gifting strategy in consultation with senior leadership: ideation, development, execution and data driven insight.
- Build market leading influencer and content creator strategies and campaigns that engage creators and their audiences, whilst driving commercial performance, brand authenticity and growing audiences to agreed KPIs.
- Lead our brand activation events and gifting strategy and implementation by having a planned and KPIs led approach to execution.
- Manage independently TALA’s affiliate programs, according to agreed KPIs.
- Draft, negotiate and maintain contracts with influencers and agents based on established benchmarks and best practices.
- Work in consultation with finance to agree and manage departmental budgets ensuring return on investment is maximised per agreed targets with TALA senior management.
- Develop KPIs and insights both internally and with external partners to benchmark expectations and goals and achieve the company's objectives.
- Collaborate with the wider marketing teams to drive both organic and performance KPIs via owned channels
- Support international growth via owned channels
- Take on a strategic and leadership position within the organisation, effectively managing the stakeholders and their KPIs
- Manage departmental priorities, including direct management of the Influencer Assistant
Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
- 5 years of experience in performance-driven influencer marketing, preferably for a fashion, activewear or other consumer goods company which successfully scaled a high priority grassroots influencer program.
- Experience with additional channels such as gifting, affiliates and/or Content Creation is strongly preferred
- Exceptional strategic thinking abilities, with a finger on the pulse of consumer and industry trends.
- A can-do attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, and exceptional interpersonal skills are key.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to connect easily with different types of people, stakeholders.
- Data-driven approach in decision making. Ability to set, track and report on KPIs, transforming them into actionable insights.
- A black book of influencers and agents with whom you have established relationships and trust
