Shapero Rare Books is an internationally renowned brand, with a diverse workforce, whose HQ is located in one of the world’s top retail locations: New Bond Street. We deal in rare books and contemporary art, from 1350 to the modern day.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate story-teller with real-world experience to join a flourishing International business based in the heart of Mayfair. You will be part of an expanding Marketing team with responsibility for the execution of the social media strategy for our major brands: Shapero Modern, Shapero Gallery and our core business Shapero Rare Books.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will be working closely with your colleagues both in the Marketing Department and across the businesses. You will be a key component of Shapero’s digital marketing strategy, creating content and providing monthly reports.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Produce & publish content for all the social media platforms of our brands
- Undertake daily admin to ensure all platforms are optimised
- Create digital assets (images/videos/banners/gifs) to use on all platforms, including each brand’s website, newsletters, social media and advertising.
- Maintain a strong relationship with Specialists throughout our Brands
- Use online marketing analytics to gather statistic from web, social and video channels to create monthly, quarterly and yearly reports –Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite (experience preferred but not necessary)
- Work closely with the rest of the marketing team in the creation of online campaigns
- Support the wider Press & Marketing teams at events (eg Photoshoots, Private Views, Art Fairs and Rare Book Shows).
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Degree educated
- Highly motivated, with a strong creative drive
- Strong photography & video skills, with a talent for visual story telling
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A good team spirit and a strong self-starter
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience in online marketing (eg Mailchimp, Later)
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with photo and video editing software (eg Canva)
