As we aim for further growth in the, we are seeking a Marketing Assistant to fortify our team.
With an annual turnover of over £100 million and ambitious future growth targets, Bordeaux Index stands as the UK's largest specialist trader of fine wine and spirits. Operating from strategic hubs in London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Los Angeles, we are positioned to make an even greater impact.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for supporting the Marketing team in maintaining all customer communication touchpoints, covering brand content creation, social media, email marketing and brand copywriting.
The role will also include assisting the Marketing team with website management, including blog writing, content creation and improving user experience. Supporting the Marketing team in creating organic social media and keeping up with trends and engagement as well as reporting on patterns via our CRM.
Responsibilities –
Marketing -
- Responsible for managing the marketing calendar, keeping up to date with scheduled marketing and PR activities and informing the business of changes/updates
- Contribute to marketing plans with new ideas, initiatives or areas for improvement
- Company Awards - manage entries to key industry awards -Decanter, Drinks Business, IWSC etc and gather data from teams for applications
- Work with our partners and internal teams to develop a regular stream of stories that are promoted both internally and externally, via the press, the website, and our social media channels
- Be a ‘brand guardian’ to ensure consistency across all BI’s internal and external communications
- Track new customers via CRM platform and their purchasing behaviour, frequency, AOV, referrals
- Assist with coordinating and delivering events
Social Media –
- Manage social media schedule, planning in advance and updating marketing calendar with plans
- Plan, create and edit high quality content to grow an active social media presence across all BI social media platforms, focussing on Instagram and Linkedin.
- Frequently monitor social media analytics to measure and improve performance
Website -
- Manage and update website copy, update out of date information and build keyword-rich copy for the website to maximise SEO
- Plan, create and edit website blogs
- Maintain website assets and work with the IT team
Asset Management –
- Develop and manage the central bank of photography and video to use for paid and organic digital content
- Coordinate printed company materials e.g. Brochures, business cards
Email Marketing -
- Execute emails as per plan created by Marketing Manager across customer segments and key messaging strategies.
- Assist with the production of digital newsletters and management of the email database
- Assist with email comms and internal delivery of data and trends to sales team, explore segmentation and automated journeys
