We are looking for a Director of Performance Marketing to lead a team of high performing, multi disciplined individuals across Performance Marketing. As director you will be responsible for delivering strategies to grow revenue across a wide portfolio of channels and markets to support all of Lyst's commercial and strategic goals. You will report directly to the VP of Marketing and will work closely with a number of senior leaders across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a multi-disciplined marketing team of 6+ marketing specialists organised into 3 key areas, driving traffic to Lyst website and app. It will be your responsibility to build the team further to maintain existing channels and explore new growth opportunities. As an experienced manager you will invest in your team's development and build a culture to stay hungry and be impact focused
- You will be ultimately responsible for driving growth from new and existing marketing channels (Search, Shopping, Affiliate, Remarketing, Display, Social, App Installs and Experiments), external relationships with Ad platforms, agencies and above all growth innovations through marketing approaches. You will do this by project managing all aspects of executions, putting together roadmaps and contributing to the wider tribe and company mission
- You will need to be ahead of shifts in the industry and understand the market, through quantitative and qualitative analysis, which informs your optimisations and tactics
- Ensure your team has a clear mission, and everyone in your team understands how their collective impact helps Lyst achieve its growth mission, which should form their primary motivation
- You will be expected to make fast decisions, lead by example, be self-motivated, own failures and need minimal support to achieve your goals. You should feel comfortable working autonomously, know when to step in, be hands on and when to delegate to your team
- You will be comfortable working with Product Managers and engineers and find the best way to utilise their time and skills to aid the team to deliver upon its objectives
- Support senior leaders across the business to create alignment across teams to maximise performance and help Lyst deliver upon its overall strategic and commercial objectives
Requirements
- Comprehensive experience in digital marketing, solid experience in a management or leadership role
- Strong track record of multi channel campaign management and optimisation decisions, executing strategies to show continuous growth
- Worked on multi-million dollar budgets and large scale campaigns
- Comfortable with conversing with different disciplines; Engineering, Product, Finance & Partnerships
- Concrete experience working across Google Shopping and App acquisition focused marketing campaigns
- Highly analytical and understands attribution in depth
- Have an all round marketing, industry knowledge and commercial understanding
- Have worked in an environment which is fast paced and performance focused
- Proven ability to continuously communicate/influence longer term strategy with peers and leadership is crucial
- Built and developed multiple teams with different performance objectives/key results simultaneously
