Zinc builds automated reference and background checking tools for forward-thinking companies that really care about candidate experience. Founded in 2017, Zinc has a unique approach to background checking, that's redefining industry standards. We're an early-stage startup going through rapid growth. Zinc's founding team have spent years in recruitment, talent, and HRTech. We saw a field plagued with inefficiency, prejudice and a lack of transparency. We first sought to solve the burden of referencing, then sought to tackle the broader category of background checking.

Requirements
With over half of Zinc's revenue coming from inbound leads, as Head of Marketing, you'll have a solid foundation to implement and expand your efforts and unlock unlimited possibilities to create a substantial and lasting effect on the business.
Your Role β‘οΈ
β Have a focus on technical marketing and data analytics, using these skills to prioritise marketing debt and implement marketing strategies.
β Oversee campaigns and demand generation ensuring the marketing team are aligned and optimised as a unit.
β People management of team members including hiring for the fast growing team.
β Represent marketing by confidently presenting internally on department updates and externally to clients and at events when necessary.
β Work closely with the CMO, who will be involved in brand marketing and events, ensuring cohesive strategy and execution.
β Implement KPIs and regularly monitor the performance of marketing initiatives to drive continuous improvement
Requirements π€
β Experience working as Head of Marketing for a B2B, SaaS company on their Β£10-20M (or similar) growth journey.
β High ownership with the ability to make decisions, propose new ideas and challenge company leaders.
β You are very data driven, always using stats when proposing ideas and presenting findings.
β Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, balancing long-term goals with short-term needs.
β Experience implementing, optimising & owning marketing tech stack, with emphasis on automation.
Nice to have... π Experience with ABM campaigns

Β£75,000 - Β£85,000

We appreciate the value of in person connection with colleagues and flexible working for our employees. We operate a hybrid model with 2 days a week in office, Mondays and Thursdays.

- 2. Video interview with Sam, Chief of Staff & Rachel, Digital Marketing Manager. (30 minutes)
- 3. Pre-final stage personal reference using Zinc. β‘οΈ
- 3. Final In-person interview involving a presentation task with Charlotte, CMO & Founder, Luke, CEO, Patrick, VP Revenue & Sam, Chief of Staff. (1.5 hours)
