GoHenry is a UK-based fintech company created by parents to pioneer financial education. More recently, GoHenry moved into Europe and the US by joining forces with French fintech company PixPay and US investing app, Acorns.
Together, Acorns, PixPay, and GoHenry have over 6 million members across 5 countries. GoHenry offers a debit card and app for kids and teens and companion apps for the family, with in-app tools for sending money, automating allowance, managing chores, setting savings goals, giving to charity, and in-app financial education lessons where kids can watch videos, take quizzes and earn points & badges. This is all designed to help kids and teens build good money habits that will last a lifetime.
The Role
GoHenry is seeking a UK VP of Marketing to join our dynamic global team. Reporting to the Acorns' Global SVP of Marketing, the UK VP of Marketing will lead all marketing functions within GoHenry, including brand marketing, CRM/lifecycle, integrated, communications, content, PR and performance marketing. This person will be a part of the GoHenry UK Executive Team.
This person should have deep empathy for our customers, the ability to deliver a compelling vision and inspire internal & external partners, a player-coach mindset, a mastery of go-to-market strategy, an unwavering work ethic, and a proven track record of surpassing business goals and leading high-performing teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the marketing strategy to accelerate growth for GoHenry UK. This spans the complete marketing stack - from awareness and PR, through customer acquisition across all existing and new channels, to lifecycle marketing.
- Meet with Executive leadership, department leaders, and key stakeholders, becoming an expert on GoHenry products, roadmap, and overall business strategy
- Own a high-performing growth program combining data-driven experimentation, deep customer understanding, and a high level of creativity
- Significantly improve current campaign / channel efficiency through testing and optimization
- Act as our brand champion and ensure that we deliver a compelling and consistent brand experience across the entire customer journey
- Deliver timely and high-impact communications, PR and content that establish GoHenry as the leader in this space
- Consistently deliver and exceed ambitious performance goals on time and on budget
- Manage and grow our CRM channel, including email, push, in-app, text etc, as well as delivering on audience lifecycle management objectives
- Lead and manage a high-performing team of marketers, fostering ownership, collaboration and development
Job Requirements
- Substantive experience acting in a senior marketing role
- Demonstrable success in delivering customer growth, with subject matter expertise across brand strategy, product marketing, CRM, and campaign execution
- Experienced people manager, with experience managing a high-performing teams
- Deep empathy and passion for our customer and their experience with GoHenry
- Outstanding strategic and operational abilities, with a proven track record of implementing and scaling initiatives to enhance customer experience and drive growth
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategic improvements
- Exceptional change management capabilities - comfortable with ambiguity and constant change with the ability to work through complex problems, set priorities, and execute commitments
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and influence the organization at all levels
- Demonstrated experience motivating, supporting, and developing team members to meet performance expectations, and build their careers
- Ability to align company vision and organizational goals with team execution
- Results-driven professional with a mindset of relentless experimentation across existing channels while constantly finding and growing new acquisition channels
