BAFTA is the UK’s leading arts charity, academy and membership organisation for the screen arts. An exciting opportunity is available for someone with demonstrable PR experience in a similar role for an arts or charity organisation to join BAFTA’s busy PR team.
Reporting to the Head of PR & Communications, this role will play a key role in helping bring BAFTA’s vision and purpose to life to external audiences; from the public to prospective funders and industry stakeholders via the media – across national, consumer and trade press.
This role will be responsible for driving media engagement across a broad variety of BAFTA’s initiatives through creative and compelling PR campaigns that showcase the breadth and impact of our charitable activity, from our prestigious awards ceremonies to our year-round learning and talent development programmes, as well as contributing to the smooth running of our press office.
We’re looking for a creative, collaborative, and ambitious PR professional, with excellent media/press management skills and an ability to craft compelling messaging for a variety of audiences, who can also establish and maintain positive relationships with a variety of key arts and screen industries’ media, and who consistently seeks to create innovative and compelling opportunities to land BAFTA stories in the press year-round.
