It’s worth mentioning that since our launch in June 2019, the company has experienced extremely significant growth in revenue. Last year, in 2023, THIS™ topped The Grocer and Alantra’s annual Fast 50 list, a ranking of the country’s fastest-growing food and drink companies on two-year sales growth. We have strong aspirations to continue this growth trajectory as we aim to be the number 1 plant-based brand in the UK and beyond and we believe we have the team and investment to achieve this.
Why are we doing THIS™?
Andy and Pete are our co-founders and their last job entailed selling tonnes (literally tonnes) of meat. Then they felt bad. Also, they felt like meat-alternatives weren't really for people who love the taste of meat. So they’ve basically ended up making THIS™ for themselves, but they’d love other meat-lovers to give it a go too. THIS™ is a game-changer.
At our core, our vision is to have a world where animals aren’t food and the environment is protected.

What’s the role?
As our new Digital Marketing Executive, you’ll be helping us drive the love for THIS™ all over the digital space—whether it’s trending on TikTok or popping up in someone’s inbox. You’ll create content that makes people stop mid-scroll, manage paid ads that convert, and help us keep our brand as fearlessly irreverent as it can be. You’ll do all of this whilst honouring our distinctive tone of voice. This is a fantastic role for someone who is tuned in and eager to make an impact in the plant-based food sector.
What will you be getting up to?
- Working closely and collaboratively with the marketing team, you’ll plan and execute a content calendar, full of scroll-stopping content for our organic and paid socials. You’ll lead on the creative brainstorming to design briefs with some ad hoc filming.
- Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns across all platforms to build our online community and increase engagement.
- Get cosy with Meta business suite, Google Ads, and a social listening tool to drive traffic and get people hooked on THIS™. Track the numbers, tweak the campaigns, and report back with results.
- Planning pro – the fast-paced nature of THIS™ means you need to be flexible, have second-to-none attention to detail and be highly organised.
- Consumer community management. You will be front line with our consumers so having strong copywriting skills is essential - we have a very distinctive tone of voice.
- Plan and write our monthly consumer newsletters to connect with our community.
- Support in updating the website, including product launches and blogs, ensuring it aligns with the latest campaigns.
- Develop relationships with influencers and ambassadors who really get our brand. Send them THIS™ goodies and get them shouting about how good plant-based THIS really is.
- Business community management (LinkedIn/Seedrs).
- Customer sentiment reporting and complaint/feedback reporting: oversee & manage Zendesk.
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated digital marketing specialist, ideally from a branded background. The successful candidate will have proven experience of managing marketing campaigns across various digital channels including organic and paid social, email marketing as well as managing influencer marketing. You’ll also have the know-how to track, monitor and report on performance, and provide improvement recommendations. Autonomy is at the heart of everything we do at THIS and so we are looking for someone who can show passion and take real ownership of their work.
- 2+ years of experience working in house for a brand in the digital space. You’ll know how to craft witty captions, build engaging content and understand algorithm changes, you can make brands pop.
- A genuine interest in plant-based food, sustainability, and our brand’s mission.
- Excellent communication skills
- An ability to manage multiple projects at one time so someone who is highly organised is key
- Determined and makes things happen.
- Creative thinker. You’ll be the key lead when it comes to our content calendar so you’ll love coming up with new ideas.
- A natural flair for copywriting. Your writing makes people want to laugh, think, and most importantly eat.
