The Role:
We are seeking a Social Media Executive with a keen interest in the luxury travel and lifestyle sector and a talent for crafting elegant and engaging content for audiences on various different platforms. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes social. The ideal candidate will be passionate about brand storytelling - through content and community management - and eager to develop their skills in a luxury-focused marketing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with our social media managers to develop and implement social media strategies for high-end travel and lifestyle brands, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence across various platforms.
- Creating and curating compelling content, including text, image and video, tailored to different social media platforms.
- Design experience is not necessary as you will be supported by our in-house design team to create more complex visual assets. However, a keen eye for detail and good knowledge of social-first content creation for Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, LinkedIn and Pinterest is key.
- Crafting captions and copywriting for corresponding marketing materials, as needed.
- Community management for multiple accounts, including monitoring social media channels for customer engagement and responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborating with the search, paid, design and client servicing teams to ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment across all digital platforms.
- Analysing social media performance, generating insights and tailor recommendations for improvement.
- Run and compile performance reports for clients and internal reviews.
- Supporting the team in various social media initiatives and campaigns.
- Staying updated with the latest social media and luxury industry trends, and integrating them into the clients’ social media strategies.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in social media management or a similar role.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of different social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passionate about the luxury market and its unique digital marketing needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to generate creative content ideas and execute them effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred but not required.
