Marketing Coordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen at French Connection for a Marketing Coordinator to join the team at our Camden Head Office.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience ideally within a fast-paced fashion retailer and a Marketing degree. You will have an outgoing personality and a genuine interest in the French Connection brand.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Head of Marketing and Social Media & Content Editor in the planning and execution of marketing activities across, media, advertising, store, digital, partnerships & events
- Day-to-day management of brand and retail marketing calendars ensuring key stakeholders are updated regularly
- Working collaboratively with PR, ecommerce, retail and creative teams to ensure plans are executed and aligned to the brand marketing strategy
- Brief and coordinate artwork requests with the creative department ensuring all marketing content, assets and final outcomes are on brand. Liaise with international markets to ensure they have relevant assets for their markets
- Organise and coordinate all aspects of in store events and local marketing activities including briefing creative team on relevant POS, creating briefing documents for store teams, recording figures and feedback and attending any relevant events
- Act as a key point of contact for any local marketing requests ensuring they are responded to and actioned in a timely manner, whilst managing national store event logistics
- Working on store openings and closures ensuring a multichannel strategy is in place
- Coordinating seasonal campaign updates, assets and communications for retail & wholesale partners
- Support the Social Media & Content Editor on social media content and activity, where required
- Building relationships with influencers and other brands for partnership opportunities that are relevant for the brand
- Report on growth of customer data capture on a weekly basis and define creative incentives to engage with consumers
- Be a brand ambassador at all times, keeping up with trends and the industry, whilst constantly bringing new ideas to the team during weekly catch-ups
- Any other ad hoc duties and projects related to your role
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong administrative skills in relation to time management and prioritisation
- Strong communication and relationship building skills, with a strong focus on delivering excellent service in all interactions (i.e. Retail and Head Office)
- Initiative and drive, with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude
- The ability to multi-task, maintain focus under pressure and ensure accuracy and attention to detail at all times
- Good IT and administrative skills, including Outlook
- Flexibility, adaptability and being a reliable member of the team
Requirements:
- Relevant University degree in Marketing or related field
- 1-2 years marketing experience preferably within the fashion retail industry
- Social media experience and knowledge
