The Global Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is seeking for a Project Manager (Early Lifecyle Manager) specialized in strengthening our designs regarding MHE (Material Handling Equipment) and Base Building equipment!

This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and conducting design reviews, partnering closely with other Amazon Design teams such as: World Wide Design and Global Realty Engineering to find creative solutions providing maintainable equipment to increase service life and safe accessibility to perform maintenance activities.
Key job responsibilities
- Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations.
- Work upstream to ensure involvement of the RME (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) deliverables are included in the right phases of building and MHE (Material Handling Equipment) design process.
- Own program communication, accelerating progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers (eg, path to green), escalating as appropriate
- Improve and create new maintenance-focused specifications; ensure they are adopted by vendors and design partners.
- Develop, implement, and govern KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions.
- Use of lessons learned: visit construction and recently launched sites to document opportunities; incorporate into designs and specifications.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Degree/Masters in a relevant subject area (Engineering/Project Management)
Experience or use of PMP/Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen
Knowledge of design software as Autocad, Navisworks, BIM360.
Experience with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business and the competitive landscape, experience on MHE (Material Handling Equipment) components and maintenance plants but also Base Building such as FLS (Fire Life Systems), Ventilation Systems.

Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective communication of goals and strategies across multiple leadership levels of an organisation
Proven ability to influence internal/external stakeholders without authority to adopt new processes/initiatives
Strong written and oral communication skills
High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple competing projects and priorities simultaneously
Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
