Description
The marketing and office assistant role will assist with customer queries, orders & returns. Collate and analyse customer data. Help with marketing activities such as email campaigns, newsletter and social media. Assist with new product development and generally ensure that office tasks and administration are completed on time, managing our post, couriers and stationary requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls and replying to emails confidently, listening carefully to customer requiremets and offer precise answers and solutions.
- Maintaining customer enquiry data and follow up on alerts or actions, always ensuring our systems are up to date.
- Collecting important data on our consumers and consolodating information into actionable items/steps, reports and presentations
- Writing newsletter and email campaign content
- Managing the process for email nuture campaigns and newsletters to current and potential customers
- Create and process customer orders / returns / refunds via the company systems
- Monitor stock availability when processing orders, enabling or disabling stock on the website accordingly
- Update product specifications, labels and sample labels
- Assist with new product development bu mixing edible samples to an exact standard for testing
- Creating and posting weekly messages on LinkedIn
- Manage and monitor supply levels of business stationary including labels, leaflets business cards, brochures, catalogues and source cost-effective print suppliers
- Arranging couriers as required and take post to the post office
- Monitor and order general office supplies as required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
The successful applicant will:
- Be an experienced office worker with a minimum of 3 years experiene of working in a professional office environment
- Have proved Microsoft Office skills, being comfortable with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
- Be detailed focused, taking pride in ensuring tasks are completed in full to the highest standards
- Have an interest in marketing and understanding of why customers buy and what makes a product sell
- Excellect copywriting and communication skills
- Customer service experience, being comfortable having conversations with new people as well as building relationships with existing customers using a variety of channels
- Be proactive
- Take ownership for their areas of responsibility to ensure that the job is done
- Be a true team player, enjoying working with others and happy to do the little things we and when needed without frustration
- Be innovative, with an eye constantly on tomorrow. Passionate about providing solutions to problems and happy to challenge inefficiences
