Social Media and Content Manager. London Office 2 days per week / Hybrid. Salary up to £45,000

Due to continued year on year growth and significant investment in the Brand positioning and route to market, 47SKIN is now embarking on a clear product and target audience strategy that will help create more amazing products, engaging content / stories that resonate with this audience and generate high lifetime value. Finally, a number of new roles across the business have been created to help expedite growth, this being one of them.

About The Role:

We’re hiring a for a creative and experienced Social Media and Content specialist who will be responsible for creating elevated, engaging, and cohesive social media campaigns and content strategies for our wonderful community of users on social media. We’re looking for someone who’s strategic and commercially focused – you understand how social media and content strategy interacts and impacts the 47Skin mission and vision. You will join the marketing team and report directly to the Head of Brand. We expect this role to become an integral part of our growing Brand team.

About you

Flexible, with an ability to work at pace and respond to changes quickly.
Delights in creating a content calendar that ties in with the trading calendar and the brand mission.
Strategic and able to create a content strategy that is tailored to the platform, with a calendar that really embodies the brand equity, product benefit, consumer insights, wider industry and consumer relevant.
Strong understanding of social trends, how to discover the latest tends and an ability to jump on these trends quickly (including using trending sounds on our content).
Keen interest and understanding in understanding consumers and social audiences to understand what content will resonate and drive high engagement.
Confident and experienced in front of the camera, able to capture content of oneself to add to the brand authenticity, jump on trends, bring more personality to the brand (particularly for TikTok)
Able to create awesome on brand content using photography, tools such as photoshop, Adobe Express, Canva, Capcut etc, copywriting and repurposing existing content.
Used to communicating directly with customers via social media channels, working closely with CS team where needed.
Has experience of and ability to take and elevate 47Skin’s tone of voice on social.
Good data analytical skills (and excel skills for weekly channel reporting) to delve into the social performance and draw insights and actions on the back of this to grow the channels.
Monitor engagement and interact with our audience across accounts, building trust and loyalty, and finding proactive engagement opportunities.
Assist the growth team in bringing the blog to life from a brand perspective.
Strong ability to make strategic and logical connections across different areas of the business to drive cohesion across our campaigns as well as bringing new ideas to drive forward the total business (beyond social media).

Role Responsibilities

Ability to work at pace and to changing demands, you’ll have a strategic well thought out content plan but are able to cope with last minute additions and changes to plan.
Able to create content for social media via a variety of methods including photography, canva, adobe (if able).
Confident copy writer, able to take a brand tone of voice and consistently apply it to social media channels.
Able to understand how to get the best value from any piece of content and which channels to best place this on.
