We are currently recruiting a Qualified Social Worker, or a practitioner who is about to qualify to join the newly formed Learning Disability and Autism Team. As part of a new hybrid team, this post would be predominantly covering the north of the county.

The successful candidate will have recent experience working in Adult Social Care and have an interest of working with adult with learning disabilities and autism.

This post will provide an excellent opportunity for a Social Worker to develop their skills and knowledge and join a newly formed friendly and supportive team. Ideally the applicant will be two years post qualified however we will consider applications from Newly Qualified Social Workers and Social Work students in their final year of study.

We can support you through your Assessed Year in Supported Employment through Shropshire’s fantastic ASYE programme. We offer an excellent programme of professional development, supervision and training and welcome applications from newly qualified Social Workers.

The primary work base will be discussed at interview.
