Collaborates and supports team and scope of services as described in the subcontract appointment documentation. Liases with and takes direction from the principle contractor and/or clients representative. Accountable for budget and costs in line with subcontract order.

You’ll be responsible for:

Acting as the logistics point of contact for the Mace project teams and key suppliers.
Owning the security lanes programme schedule, keeping track of key components and ensuring stock levels of loose components are maintained.
Keeping track of the security programme space allocation capacity and reporting to the client as frequently as agreed.
Chairing logistics coordination meetings and managing the interface between all the parties involved, coordinating the successful delivery of new lanes.
Implementing a single logistics approach throughout the programme, in line with the terminals security programme logistics plan.
Attending deployment meetings, liaising with the client and key stakeholders.
Coordinates the health safety, wellbeing and environmental requirements of logistics package in line with principal contractors and client expectations, accountable for project costs and budgets.
Assists innovating delivery service, ensuring quality service provided and undertakes and monitors service quality, developing alternative methods of undertaking contractual scope of works.
Plans and monitors programme and activities of Mace logistics suppliers, reviews changes to scope, monitors and assesses needs making benefit recommendations, liaising with commercial manager and suppliers.
Manages and submits weekly progress summary of key activities, with a 6 week look ahead/ plan complete.
Collates and prepares workforce time sheets.
Raises Request for Information (RFI) and Early Warning Notices (EWNs) or Work Request Sheets (WRS) as necessary and liaises with commercial manager.
Attends programme meetings, managing changes to scope or programme, liaising with principal and principal contractors site management team.
Provides monthly progress reports and monthly delivery performance reports, reporting any red-flags and outstanding EWNs or RFIs.
Liaises and builds working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to establish needs and checking in scope and in line with change request process.
Manages workforce levels and site operations, ensuring competence and monitoring for a healthy and safe working environment, manages requirements are met and documented, liaising with HSW manager.
Responsible for logistic team daily briefings and material delivery schedule, ensures teams are briefed and conversant of daily activities, updating construction Tier 1 supplier teams regarding daily and weekly activities, ensuring conversant with delivery system and bookings.
Monitors and reports waste trends, traffic flows and delivery quantities, reviewing to improve productivity, coordinates site cleaning operation, manages waste suppliers and schedules.
Completes asset registers plant & equipment and weekly hired equipment, recording losses or damages incurred, reporting to Logistics administrator and commercial manager.
Liaises with contracts manager regarding team performance and resource management.

You’ll need to have:

Microsoft office: Word, Excel, Power Point First Aid at Work Level 3 Fire warden training CITB TWSTC- Temporary Works Supervisor Training Course NRSWA - New Roads and Street Works - Operative Asbestos Awareness Cat A Working at Height Manual Handling Safe Use of General Harness & Lanyard Abrasive Wheel Introduction to the Considerate Contractor Scheme SIA Security Manned Guarding (or equivalent).
CSCS Accreditation - Black (or equivalent) NVQ Level 3 Gold Card (or equivalent) CLOCS practitioner (or equivalent) Site Manager’s Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) or accepted equivalent qualification.

You’ll also have:

Good communication across various levels of management.
Abiilty to lead & manage multi-cultural workforce.
Good presentation skills Ability to recognise upskilling opportunities within the workforce.
Ability to recognise additional skills within the workforce.
5+ years in the construction industry (or equivalent).
