Job Overview:

We are looking for proactive and skilled School Caretakers to join our vibrant schools in East London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the school premises are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and equipment upkeep.
Oversee the security of the school buildings and grounds, including locking and unlocking premises.
Manage waste disposal and ensure the proper handling of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Assist with setting up and clearing for school events and functions.
Address any urgent maintenance issues promptly and liaise with external contractors as needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a caretaker or in a similar facilities management role.
Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment for students and staff.
