Veronica De Piante is a luxury women’s wear brand based in London with production made in Italy. We are a young company having launched in November 2022, and a small, passionate team. VDP has an established boutique on Madison Avenue in New York City, an e-commerce site, plus top tier retail partnerships with Net-A-Porter, Isetan and others.
ROLE - BRAND MARKETING MANAGER
The Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for maximising brand desire and intent to purchase across retail, wholesale and ecommerce channels, by planning and executing effective 360-degree seasonal marketing campaigns and activations, targeting direct, indirect customers and loyalists, ultimately delivering preference in line with business ambitions. This role is for an exemplary marketing professional, who understands and can action effective tactical brand marketing plans to reach strategic goals.
REPORTING
This role will report to the Marketing Director and work closely across all teams throughout the business
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT
- In partnership with the Marketing Director and Ecommerce Manager, plan and implement the omni-channel seasonal marketing strategy
- Oversee and maintain the calendar, ensuring cross-functional alignment across all marketing efforts
- Cross-collaborate with internal teams to ensure clarity on marketing plan, developing and leading all seasonal product marketing and messaging, aligning product focuses and inclusions to seasonal strategy
- Ideate, plan and manage localised marketing activity in the US/UK markets, utilising partnerships to create brand noise
- Conduct post-seasonal analyses, measuring performance and providing insights to inform future strategies and KPIs
TRADE MARKETING
- In partnership with the Commercial Manager, plan and implement trade marketing and retail opportunities aligned to the seasonal strategy
- Facilitate all wholesale partner marketing and events, working closely with key partners
- Own retail marketing - drawing local and international clientele to store and pop-ups
- Partner with the Store Manager to plan and deliver a programme of events and activations that result in traffic and sales
- Liaise with the Retail and Digital teams on clienteling program for the year, maximising outcomes for client advocacy
EDITORIAL & CREATIVE
- Develop and oversee high quality content across a variety of mediums, ensuring alignment to brand positioning and tone of voice
- Research, pitch, build and maintain relationships with creative partners
- In collaboration with creative director and founder - ideation, art direction, and production related to lookbooks, campaigns, e-commerce, editorial features
AGENCY MANAGEMENT
- Key point of liaison and relationship management for comms agency partner, attending weekly meetings to discuss noteworthy brand activity and responding to enquiries, supplying information and assets as relevant
BUDGET MANAGEMENT
- Set, monitor and report on marketing budgets, KPIS and expenses
SKILLS
- You have experience in luxury or can demonstrate a strong understanding of and passion for the luxury customer, as well as industry dynamics
- You have a proven track record of project management, building strategic proposals and the ability to put ideas down on paper in a clear, concise and visually engaging manner.
- You have exemplary communication skills across visual, written and verbal with a warm and engaging manner in person
- You can rapidly grasp ideas, data and information, translating these into simple, compelling materials such as slides, decks and documents that can be easily understood by a wider audience
- You are confident in both curating and creating visuals, being an expert in what ‘good’ content looks like. You deploy a strong sense of aesthetics with attention to detail and taste levels
- You have a preference for working within a fast-paced environment, multitasking and handling multiple projects and stakeholders in an organised but flexible manner and with the ability to prioritise as needed
- You have the ability of being highly organised, strategic and analytical in approach and planning, balanced with creativity in ideation and execution.
