The role:
You will ensure the day to day running of a number of UK high street retail, grocery and E-commence orders, with the key responsibilities including managing order entries, working with internal and external customers by emails. Covering all aspects from order placement to shipment, partnering with distributors on availabilities, stock issues, credit/claim queries and delivery timeframes.
In this role you will work closely with our 3PL and EU Sales team to ensure orders are processed and collected on time in full. You will also gain knowledge to support other team members, process new account openings and set up new markets according to requirement.
What you will do:
Customer Service and Operations
- Build the order to invoice process for customers ( EDI and manual orders)
- Utilise support functions and engage with 3PL logistics providers to ensure order fulfillment within meeting agreed customer service targets.
- Liaise with the warehouse on delivery and packing requirements
- Monitor the Customer Service mailbox
- Work with customers and work in partnership with partners (sales team, finance team).
- Investigate any customers order shortages, claims and returns
Project Management
- Be a bridge between head office and co-packing facilities on rework projects.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to scope project requirement
- Identify new ways of working to increase supply chain solution to ensure that the environmental sustainability and cost optimization agenda is met.
Compliance
- Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with relevant Acts, legal requirements and ethical standards
- Maintain a sound knowledge of the businesses and risks
- Ensure compliance and promotes adherence to the Bondi Sands culture, values and policies
- Ensure personal adherence to workplace health and safety requirements and either addresses or bring to management’s attention when others are in breach of these requirements.
What you will need:
- Minimum A-level education. Bachelor’s degree in Business related discipline.
- 3 years of customer service experience within an FMCG, logistics or supply chain is ideal.
- A systematic approach to managing and prioritizing workload is essential.
- Ability to deliver on deadlines and build strong relationships.
- Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
- Strong internal and external communication skills with excellent English language proficiency.
- Ability to deal with numbers and large data set.
- SAP knowledge is desired but not essential; proficiency in Microsoft applications is required.
- Experience of freight and transport logistics, understanding of road haulage and complexity (desirable).
- Familiarity with UK retailing, e-commence and B2B sales (desirable).
