The role
- Plan and deliver social media activity which sits outside of the pod structure, towards the agreed outcomes.
- Work with the Senior Social Media Manager to ensure the overall plan is integrated and appropriately planned for audience and outcomes.
- Publish assets across a range of Social platforms, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the social media activity and deliver optimisation and change which increases impact on KPIs.
- Act as a key point of operational escalation for streamlined social media activity which uses assets sourced from outside ITV Creative.
- Work with production teams to ensure content is high quality, on brand, compliant, appropriate and performant on social media.
- Monitor performance and feedback learnings back to the wider social media team to paint an ongoing picture of what activity is performing best, to drive optimisation across all activity.
- Ensure all social media activity is in line with legal, commercial, rights, OFCOM and Duty of Care guidance and regulations.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Solid experience working within Social Media along with a solid understanding of social media and platform expertise
- Strong ability to define and deliver social media activations for marketing, working towards clear outcomes and KPIs.
- Very strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding and curiosity towards the social platforms and the types of content that work best on each
- Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment

- Excellent copywriting, spelling and grammar skills
- Highly organised and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good at understanding and interpreting data to aid decision making

- A can-do, collaborative, get-things-done approach.
- A genuine passion for ITV programmes.
