ABOUT THIS ROLE
Reporting to the Marketing Manager for Salon, the Marketing Coordinator for Trade and Customer Experience will support and maximise ghd growth across all Trade and Customer Experience channels through supporting marketing & commercial ideas and executions. An exciting role for a self-motivated beauty/hair obsessed individual who is keen to work in a dynamic, & passionate marketing environment.
The Marketing Coordinator for Trade and Customer Experience will work in collaboration with the Marketing Manager and the Marketing Executives to ensure the marketing plans for our Retail and Salon partners come to fruition and inspire, excites, and brings the ghd brand to life across all media platforms.
Through implementing, and executing effective, innovative, and ambitious marketing activities throughout the year, the Marketing Coordinator will contribute to profitable growth & the delivery of financial targets for the UK and Ireland consumer channels.
A key part of this role will be further developing the ghd brand by re-building awareness, advocacy and passion for the brand and products for consumers through our selected Premium Retail partners and Salons, ensuring global brand positioning and equity is respected.
‘’UK and Ireland’’ is the largest and most developed markets for ghd. It is a critical territory for the sustainability of the brand at a global level. Consequently, the Marketing Coordinator for Trade and Customer Experience is a key role within the marketing organisation to ensure brand advocacy and the perfect implementation is executed as a flagship market.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
LAUNCH WITH 360 OMNI CHANNEL EXCELLENCE
- Bring to life all ghd outstanding launches across Salon, Premium Retail & SEP customers both in traditional offline and online marketing environments
- Tracking the deployment of all digital pack deliveries for new launches across all major customers
- Supporting our launch calendar and campaign rollouts through our Content Factory Strategy as well as being a fundamental part of delivering our biggest experiential moments
- Responsible for end-to-end briefing and deploying Ad hoc artwork with our design studio and print partners
- Contribute to optimising and delivering best-in-class Retail Media Marketing, online brand pages and delivering exceptional brand execution within PDPs, Brand stores
- Cross-functional deployments of ghd Award’s briefs, working closely with our PR and Social Media Team
CONTRIBUTE TO THE GROWTH OF THE #1 LOVED BRAND
- Beauty Industry Savviness, track and report trends, best-in-class launches within the industry through a monthly wrap-up
- Support our Marketing Manager in the creation and deployment of our dedicated Business to Business (B2B), Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Ensure ghd’s execution within our Premium Retail doors is flawless by leading Visual Merchandising regular checks, maintenance requests, POS changes, new doors opening
STRONG COLLABORATOR IN A FABULOUS TEAM
- Lead the Vendor set-up and PO (Purchase Orders) tracking in line with our Monthly budget phasing
- Cross-functional deployments of ghd Award’s briefs, working closely with our PR and Social Media Team
- Collaborate with our PR, Social Media and Offline Marketing team in the planning and execution of our UK&I Major Customers Events
- Present within Monthly Marketing Connects to our UK&I MD
- Immerse yourself in the wonderful and dynamic world of the hair industry building your network by presenting Marketing Campaigns and Lead Marketing conversations where relevant
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
- Passion, energy, and aspiration in line with ghd products, brand, values & people
- Ideally undertaken an intern role in a marketing department with 1-year experience
- Resourceful, creative, and entirely flexible; thrives on positive change
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Understanding of UK&I Haircare Industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and good organisational skills are essential
- Computer literate and proficiency with MS applications, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Adobe Creative Suite experience desirable
- Strong self-awareness, communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
- UK based with the ability to travel within the UK or Republic of Ireland (ROI) without restrictions
