One of the NHS clients in London is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise in the below mentioned technologies and management to maintain and enhance their IT infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless server operations, implementing best practices, and supporting their healthcare professionals with robust and reliable IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform server maintenance and management across Azure, VMware, and Hyper-V environments.
- Oversee SAN technology and Dell Storage solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage backup solutions, including Commvault, Azure Backup, and AvePoint online services.
- Administer and support Mimecast for email security and archiving.
- Implement and manage Privilege Access Management using Netwrix SbPAM.
- Execute server deployments and adhere to best practices for configuration and security.
- Manage and support Active Directory and Azure Directory services.
- Configure and troubleshoot DNS and DHCP systems.
- Support O365 environments, including Exchange Online and Teams.
- Monitor and manage remote server operations and performance.
- Oversee Windows patch management and ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Utilize PowerShell Scripting for automation and task management.
- Apply ITIL principles to ensure best practices in IT service management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Proven experience in server systems engineering with in-depth knowledge of Azure, VMware, and Hyper-V.
- Expertise in SAN technology and Dell Storage solutions.
- Proficiency in backup management using Commvault, Azure Backup, and AvePoint.
- Experience with Mimecast and Privilege Access Management (Netwrix SbPAM).
- Strong background in server deployments, Active Directory, and Azure Directory.
- Proficient in DNS, DHCP, O365 (Exchange Online and Teams), and remote management.
- Experience with Windows Patch Management and PowerShell Scripting.
- ITIL certification or experience applying ITIL best practices.
