Role Overview
As a Marketing Executive at George Spencer Designs, you will play a crucial role in elevating our brand’s presence, supporting marketing and sales efforts, and creating high-quality content and sales materials.
In this role, you will work closely with the sales team to implement initiatives that build brand awareness and engage with the design community. You will execute comprehensive sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent and impactful 'always-on' 360 marketing activities that effectively promote our product and service offerings. You will also work closely with The Edward Alexander Group on implementing brand and marketing initiatives and have a dotted line report to the Marketing Director.
Additionally, you will guide our digital marketing and social media initiatives, driving our brand presence online while focusing on delivering successful community management in targeted markets. Main Responsibilities
- Website Content: Assist in maintaining and optimizing the website, including new collection and product updates, ensuring an engaging user experience and adherence to SEO best practices.
- Social Media: Manage all social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with the design community to increase brand visibility.
- Email Marketing: Develop and execute targeted email campaigns to engage and nurture leads, promote products and services, and build brand loyalty.
- Sales & Marketing Material: Design and create collateral, including brochures, catalogues, client presentations, sample displays, and packaging, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and high visual appeal.
- Content Creation: Assist in creating content for marketing materials, such as social media, blogs, website content, email campaigns, and on-site photography and videography.
- Showroom and Event Support: Assist in executing showroom events, product launches, and showroom merchandising and display.
- Content Distribution: Update distributors and external agents with marketing assets and content, including sales and marketing collateral.
- Performance Report: Monitor, analyze, and evaluate performance for all channels: website, social, email, and marketing activations against projected KPIs, using insights to optimize future initiatives to demonstrate effective ROI.
- Budget Management: Track and manage marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and monitoring spend against budget on a regular basis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, showroom, and group marketing teams, including general administrative support and coordination of cross-departmental projects.
Who We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: Degree in marketing or a related discipline.
- Digital Expertise: Strong knowledge of the digital space, including performance monitoring and data analytics.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM and campaign management platforms, particularly Mailchimp and Salesforce.
- Website Management: Familiarity with website content management systems, particularly Magento.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, update relevant team members, and meet deadlines.
- Creative Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and other relevant design and editing tools is highly desirable.
- Copywriting: Strong copywriting skills that align with the brand’s tone of voice.

Salary Range
£36k+ depending on experience
