NORM is a joint initiative set up by the Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership and Police Scotland. Its remit is to provide an early intervention service for victims and children affected by domestic abuse across Glasgow; working to increase safety and improve outcomes. The team serves to minimise the rate of referrals to SCRA and generic Children and Families Teams by carrying out initial assessment of risk and need, delivering short term interventions and offering sign posting information and advice in relation to all domestic abuse referrals from Police, where a child is involved.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme & SSSC will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
