Cooley (UK) LLP is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing and Business Development team.
Position Summary: Working closely with London Marketing Manager and the Director of Marketing - Europe, as well as other members of the team, the Coordinator will support the full range of marketing activities for the London and Brussels Office, as outlined in Position Responsibilities below.
Position Responsibilities:
Materials, Pitches and Directories
- Assist with the production and updating of materials and capability statements - both office wide and practice area.
- Assist with the production of pitch documents and decks.
- Assist in the production of the annual submissions to UK Legal 500 and Chamber’s directories.
- All other duties as assigned or required.
Written Assets and Comms
- Support the drafting, proofreading and publication of firm news, client-facing announcements, web content, blog postings, and thought leadership articles.
- Assist in the drafting, proofing and submission of Surveys and Award submissions.
- Assist with social media posts and updating lawyer profiles on LinkedIn.
- Assist with sourcing media coverage.
- All other duties as assigned or required.
Events Planning and Management
- Work with London Marketing Team on client events including webinars, seminars, private dinners and hosted receptions.
- Monitor forthcoming external events and conferences, especially in the technology and life sciences sectors – both relating to firm memberships, and others.

Operations and Systems
- Enter marketing campaigns and pipeline activity into Salesforce, the firm’s CRM system.
- Keep marketing information and lists within Salesforce up to date.
- Collate deal and matter information across practice areas.
- Assist with collating content for, and the production of internal marketing reports.
- Monitor the London Office Diary, and circulate regularly.
- Code marketing invoices ahead of Accounts payment.
- Arrange photo sessions in the European offices for new starters, and others.

Skills & Experience:
Required:
- Previous marketing experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Excellent written communication skills, with an ability to provide clarity and creativity to content.
- Excellent verbal skills (both listening and talking).
- Highly organised with excellent project and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- A strong team player naturally inclined to share and collaborate with colleagues across functions and geographies.
- Professional attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills, confident in interaction across all levels of the organisation.
