LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare are looking for a General Manager within Warehouse and logistics you will be responsible for providing overall leadership for the Harlow Scimitar site, ensuring that the facility operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. This role will involve coordinating and managing the stock, storage, collation, and transportation of materials for pharmaceutical manufacturing and medication, ensuring timely delivery to patients’ homes in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and LPCH Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Key Accountabilities:
Technology Integration:
- Oversee the integration of supporting technologies to reduce the need for manual intervention, including:
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS): Implement and optimize the use of WMS to streamline warehouse operations.
- Storage Optimization Systems: Develop and maintain systems that optimize storage allocation and conditions to maximize space utilization and product accessibility.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within a warehouse and logistics environment, specifically in the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven GM-level experience in managing warehouse and logistics operations, demonstrating strategic oversight and operational excellence.
Skills:
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to deliver on customer needs and enhance service delivery.
- Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Methodical approach to work with a keen eye for detail.
- Capacity to balance and prioritize multiple demands effectively.
- The position is primarily based in a warehouse and logistics environment, which may involve physical activities and adherence to safety protocols.
