Salary: £26,500 (pro rata, so £15,600)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week. Some evening and weekend working will be required.
Holidays: Pro rata 24 days per annum, plus one week over the Christmas holiday period, (all based upon 37.5 hours per week).
Probation period: Three months

Role
In this role, the Marketing Coordinator will help to deliver our Marketing and Communications, raising the profile of the organisation and its activity with a particular focus on its events.
This will be achieved through assisting with the effective delivery of campaigns across print, digital, press and other media.
Key responsibilities
Working with the Marketing Manager – and in collaboration with the Head of Fundraising & Communications, Fundraising & Communications Coordinator, Programmes team, Commercial team and other colleagues – the Marketing Coordinator will assist with the delivery of creative marketing and communications that promote the organisation’s events, activities and brand:
- Write, edit, and schedule content for various platforms, including social media, website, and press releases.
- Assist with the production of print/digital marketing materials (e.g. event flyers, the seasonal What’s On guide) and collateral (e.g. videos).
- Support the Marketing Manager with planning, implementing and monitoring marketing campaigns.
- Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programmes.
- Draft and write a email marketing campaigns.
- Build and schedule a weekly email marketing campaign for Conway Hall’s audiences.
- Make use, if required, of the CRM/Ticketing system [Ticketsolve], especially for cross- marketing, to support the Programmes team.
Assist, if required, with:
- Updates to the website.
- The marketing of Conway Hall’s commercial offers, such as Venue Hire.
- PR events, interviews, photocalls and media briefings as necessary.
- The sending or upload of event listings to relevant websites, etc. at the start of eachseason or as necessary.
- The work of the Fundraising & Communications Coordinator, to support the delivery of Institutional Marketing and fundraising activity.
General:
- Comply with Conway Hall’s policies, such as health and safety, equal opportunities, etc.
- Support the measurement and evaluation of the charitable work of the Society.
- Support the culture of fundraising throughout Conway Hall’s activities and staff.
- Attend meetings when required, including staff meetings.
- Undertake relevant training, such as with the Arts Marketing Association (membership of which will be provided).
- Participate actively in the life of the Society and the venue.
- Adhere to GDPR guidelines, e.g. with mailing lists.
- Any other reasonable duties as required by the Marketing Manager.
Person Specification
Essential Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Some design experience, e.g. with Canva, InDesign (or similar).
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms (such as Mailchimp).
- Experience with (semi-)professional use of social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using a range of Microsoft Office applications. Desirable Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Copywriting experience for event listings / social media.
- Experience in (Arts) marketing/PR and/or events promotion or comparable qualification.
- Basic video editing skills in Capcut, iMovie or Adobe Premiere.
- Some understanding of Content Management Systems (such as WordPress), Ticketing Systems(such as Ticketsolve).

- Well organised, with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines and plan and prioritise workload.
