Requirements
The Role
You'll work closely with the founders, report to our CEO, and take responsibility for marketing across the business. That bit is obvious. What you will really be doing is figuring out how to create a category and dominate it. We are the biggest digital solution in this colossal and growing space.
We are an app-first experience, meaning you will be in control of marketing a highly scalable product that can serve people across the globe. The opportunity is so vast that the challenge will be choosing your bets.
As we are an early-stage start-up, there is room for you to have a huge impact on the future of the company and a large amount of autonomy to shape your role and get stuck in. You should be comfortable adapting your role and responsibilities as the company grows. We expect this might consist of:
- Create and execute a marketing strategy that dramatically grows our US membership
- Be responsible for setting and hitting our marketing budget
- Manage and grow our Performance Marketing and Creative team
- Build strong relationships with product and engineering to shape end to end user experience
- Foster a data culture and use our huge data set as our competitive advantage
- Think outside of the box and create growth and marketing mechanisms that stand out
- Position the brand as a thought leader through strong US based PR
- Own all marketing messaging from our Website to Social to Email Marketing
We are building a team of people that have real ownership over the business. To be successful here, you should be willing to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty on anything that will help the business be more successful.
You are:
- Experienced in D2C startups with performance marketing at their heart
- Comfortable getting in ad accounts and getting your hands dirty
- Able to drive a high cadence creative process
- Experienced with marketing data platforms and data stacks
- Confident that you can establish influencer marketing as a high ROI channel
- Experienced in growing brand awareness and acquistions organically
- Creative when it comes to understanding users and landing cut through messaging
- Able to write SQL queries
- Someone who has hired and lead small marketing teams
- Compassion, empathy, understanding, or interest in mental health
- Ability to keep up-to-date with the latest tools and trends
