The role

We're seeking an enthusiastic person to join our French team as we aim to grow our French operation/website.
Although we already have successful affiliate marketing companies in the UK and a number of other countries, the French team is effectively run as a small start-up. This means that, although the primary focus is on Marketing the website and increasing our member base, the role is varied depending on what is needed each day. Whether that is customer service, partnerships, or marketing your focus will be on doing what is needed to grow the website and think like it is your own business.

Person Specification:
We are looking for someone with good knowledge of the French e-commerce market, who will enthuse about building top-notch marketing campaigns.
Experience working with different performance marketing channels such as PPC (Google Ads) and an understanding of Affiliate Marketing would be preferable.
The ideal candidate will have lived in France for a significant amount of time with first-hand experience of shopping online in France. They will have a good understanding of how and where French customers research, shop, and save online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adding content and ensuring that the tone of voice is suitable for the French market
- Creating and managing all digital launch campaigns
- Customer service to new members to ensure we give good service and continue to grow
- Engaging with the French market to encourage membership growth
- Development of member e-mail campaigns and referral programmes
- Creation of a range of influencer and direct partnerships with specific ROI targets
- Research and test new online media opportunities that may benefit the business, including mobile, social media, influencer campaigns etc
- Investigate underperforming campaigns; look for improvements and take action where necessary
- Updating, reviewing, and editing site placements and content
- Negotiating exclusive offers with brands
- Supporting other members of staff within the team
Requirements
- Good knowledge of online shopping and money-saving initiatives, particularly in the French market
- Some experience in digital performance marketing. Areas of experience should include some of:
- PPC (Google Ads)
- Social media campaigns (Instagram / Facebook / Twitter)
- App Marketing
- Influencer marketing
- Affiliate marketing
- Partner marketing campaigns
- Email
- Analytical and reporting skills - results and fact-driven, with a naturally inquisitive nature and a keen eye for detail
- Creative nature with the ability to copywrite and produce promotional marketing material
- A self-starter with the ability to motivate yourself and use your own initiative
- The ability to multi-task, prioritise a workload and work to deadlines
- A real team player
