Our international planning function plays a critical part in this working cross functionally with international trading, commercial planning, logistics, finance, online and franchise partners.

NB: This role is based at our Waterside Support Office in Paddington but will involve some international travel.

What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include
- Track and monitor all shipments inbound to our hubs ensuring stock arrives on time. Work with M&S Sourcing office supply chain teams across the world to ensure stock is shipped on time from our suppliers
- Make decisions on optimum routes, ensuring systems are set up so that stock is routed in the most efficient way for the end-to-end supply chain
- Monitor inbound lead times and highlight any risks to partners across different teams
- Work closely with the Hub Logistics Managers, Marketplace Logistics Team, and International Trading teams to provide visibility and forecasting of inbound volumes.
- Ensure compliance to all contractual standards and ensure inbound critical metrics are met
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
- Strong Supply Chain and logistics experience, particularly experience of monitoring and managing inbound volumes
- A good understanding of International Freight and 3PL management
- Strong Analytical Skills to be able to interpret and present data with relevant IT support systems knowledge – Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI
- A Problem solver who has the ability to make clear and concise decisions at pace and the insight as to know when to make decisions and when to seek guidance. So issues can be anticipated and mitigated with inbound shipments
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate and build positive relationships with business partners across functions
