We are looking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic Social Worker to work within the Amber Valley East Adult Social Work Team.
Our team works with adults with a range of disabilities and includes older adults, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental ill health. You will need to be able to manage change and have the ability to maintain positive relationships with both our health partners and other agencies.
The successful candidates will take a Strengths-based approach to assessing care and support needs under the Care Act 2014, provide information and advice, undertake person centred support planning, assess risk and provide professional social work support.
The post-holder will work in partnership with colleagues from other agencies, this will be integral to the investigation of safeguarding concerns.
The work is fast paced so the ability to manage a busy case load effectively is essential. This post is fixed term covering secondment until October 2025.

SW Grade 9-11 - An initial one off lump sum ‘Welcome payment’ of £1500 (pro-rata) is attached to this post, payable in your first salary.
