The Role:
Great British Chefs is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join its team!
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be working closely with our Marketing Manager to support key projects for the brand. A large focus for this role will be building and sending all email newsletters, along with the monitoring and reporting of all social media platforms on a regular basis for both client/brand initiatives.
At Great British Chefs, we have lots of exciting plans coming up over the next few months, so support in building-out an effective communication plan with the Marketing Manager on an ad-hoc basis will also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Marketing Manager in undertaking administrative tasks in order to build-out and coordinate all marketing initiatives.
- Managing the build of all email newsletters for the GBC brand - this includes full coordination with the wider team in order to receive relevant content for individual email newsletters in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track ROI/performance across the social media platforms and email newsletter marketing initiatives to measure effectiveness.
- Provide daily help desk management - ensure customer service standards are maintained efficiently and effectively.
- Administrative tasks: Undertaking daily tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
- Brainstorming ideas for editorial, client and marketing campaigns.
- Assist in maintaining brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across all design deliverables.
Skills and experience:
- Entry-level/1+ years experience in relevant role - this is a great role for someone wishing to kickstart their marketing career!
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A good understanding of all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest).
- Willingness to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse team at a rapidly growing small business.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work in an office and dealing with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- An outgoing, friendly personality and a can-do attitude
- A strong interest in food is highly desirable!
