About Hunza G
Hunza G was originally born in 1984, known then only as Hunza under the direction of Peter Meadows who created its signature, unique crinkle-stretch fabrication and high-cut leggy designs. Hunza became instantly recognisable in the 90’s after being worn by Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. In 2015, Hunza added the G when Georgiana Huddart re-launched the brand and became Creative Director after having an obsession with the fabrics throughout her 20’s. With modern nostalgia at its core, Hunza G has grown to become an iconic brand synonymous with the beach.
The role
Sitting within Hunza G’s Marketing Department and reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity to join the brand’s fast-growing team. This role is responsible for managing the brand’s organic social media output across multiple channels. You will be accountable for planning and creating organic social media content, championing tone of voice, accurately measuring performance, and assisting with strategy. Comfortable working closely with the brand’s Co-Founder and Creative Director to execute brand vision, you have experience working alongside internal stakeholders within a fast-paced team and have a good understanding of how marketing works across all channels. A creative go-getter, you’re comfortable with working in a dynamic and hard-working environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and produce organic social media content in-line with the brand’s visual and written tone of voice guidelines – with a focus on Instagram as our hero channel.
- Post scheduled social media posts, including feed posts and Instagram stories, according to the digital marketing calendar.
- Update the digital marketing calendar, ensuring plans align with overarching strategy and key launches.
- Write social media captions, championing Hunza G’s tone of voice.
- Add product tags and links to posts, ensuring content is correctly tagged.
- Maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders to execute brand vision across social media channels.
- Assist with channel-specific and overarching marketing strategies.
- Accurately measure the performance of all social media activity, overseeing best practice reporting alongside the Head of Marketing.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce and merchandising teams on product selection for content planning.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer mindset per channel, applying strategic thinking to all outputs.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Marketing and Senior Marketing Executive to ensure a consistent story is told across all channels.
- Provide first-class community management and reposting UGC across social media channels that adheres to internal visual guidelines.
- Relay community feedback to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Work with the Press Assistant to ensure gifting strategy aligns with content needs.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, sharing ideas for new initiatives with the team.
The ideal candidate
- 5+ years’ experience working within a social media role.
- A keen interest in swimwear and fashion, with a focus to fully engage and make an impact in our growing company.
- Passionate about social media, marketing, and e-commerce.
- A creative thinker that’s not afraid to move the dial.
- Solution orientated – a problem solver, flexible, adaptable and resilient.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
