Zzish (creators of Quizalize) are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Assistant to support the UK & US Marketing and Sales team (B2C & B2B). We are looking for someone who is super committed, and passionate about education and the power of technology to help educators and students worldwide. This is the perfect position for an individual who is early in their Marketing journey and wants to grow their career in a global business and gain exposure to all aspects and elements of Marketing in a fast-paced and agile team.
The ideal start date is the end of April or early May 2024. This a full-time opportunity, Monday to Friday. You'll be primarily working remotely, but occasionally you will have meetings and social events scheduled at our office near London Bridge, London - UK.

Responsibilities:
Content Creation & SEO
- Content Creation: research and identify main topics relevant to K-12 teachers, and create compelling and visually appealing content using tools such as Canva or other editing tools
- Conduct keyword research and optimise website content for search engine optimisation (SEO)
Social Media Management
- Social Media Management: you will manage and monitor multiple social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Instagram) for Quizalize, ensuring consistent and engaging content updates
- Community Engagement: you will engage with Facebook groups and Reddit communities to foster discussions, answer questions, and provide valuable insights about the education sector and K-12 teaching
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect and analyse marketing data to track the performance of campaigns and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the marketing team
Market Research
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for the company
- Summarise findings and present insights to the marketing team
Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the marketing and sales team, including scheduling meetings, engaging with our ambassadors and managing calendars
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to create engaging and creative content
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices
- Strong understanding of and interest in social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram
- Familiarity with community management and experience engaging with online communities (e.g., Facebook groups, Reddit)
- Proficiency in using design tools such as Canva or similar editing software to create visually appealing content
- Basic knowledge of analytics and reporting to measure marketing campaign performance
- Basic knowledge of Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, or Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Greater London based (ideally within 90 minutes travel time to our office in London Bridge)
The nice-to-have skills:
- Previous experience in a Marketing or Education related role. This is not essential if you have the skillset and committed attitude that we are looking for!
- Familiarity with Facebook and Google Ads
- A genuine love for tech and education
- Experience dealing with Ambassadors/Influencers
- Event management experience (Webinars, Workshops, In-person events)
- Knowledge of the education sector and familiarity with K-12 teaching topics is a plus
