Role Overview:
We’re seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to join our passionate team who work across an award-winning consortium of four education consultancies. You will oversee the marketing initiatives across all four, but with a particular focus on Oxbridge Applications and A-List Education.
Your remit, alongside the Head of Marketing, is to drive growth in brand visibility, website and social media visits, ecommerce sales and especially quality lead generation. You’ll report directly to the Head of Marketing and in turn, you’ll manage a pool of talented freelance writers.
Main role responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Commission, publish and take strategic ownership of website content (web pages, images, videos) on Oxbridge Applications & A-List, to grow traffic and leads.
- Work with our performance marketing and dev agencies for best outcomes
- Work with the CRM Executive on emails and marketing automation via HubSpot (A-List) and MailChimp (OA)
- Plan and execute digital and offline marketing campaigns for PR and to reach our target audiences
- Liaise with the product and sales teams, eg testing new products on the websites, creating reports in Salesforce, or assisting with design and printing of brochures for schools
- Assist with marketing of events when required
Required experience and skills
The right candidate will demonstrate:
- Evidence of content marketing/SEO work that delivered tangible growth
- Experience of email marketing and automation strategies to nurture leads
- Experience of managing external agencies
- Experience of overseeing social media marketing and brand partnerships
- A meticulous eye for detail and excellent self-organisation
- Experience using WordPress, HubSpot or an equivalent CMS
- Familiarity with tools like GSC, GA4, Google Ads, SEMrush and MailChimp
