We are looking for passionate, agile, dynamic, and inspiring Newly Qualified Social Workers to join our Children Social Care Service. If you are a newly qualified Social Worker with experience in the field of child and family social work, then come with us on a fantastic journey to change children’s life’s.
Newly Qualified Social Workers will be performing direct work with children and families, assessments of risks, formulating care plans, facilitating family network meetings, and reviewing services for children and families plans. You’ll need to be able to make professional judgements in a multi-disciplinary setting and communicate effectively to maintain up to date records and work as a team.
If you join Luton you will be supported, guided and mentored to develop into a more advanced social work practitioner and continue your career within Luton.
Interviews for this role will take place w/c 17th June.

You'll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and understanding of current legislation, national guidance and best practice relevant to this role, as well as your knowledge of social care need of children and families.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, you'll have a problem solving mind and be passionate about working using a strength based approach to assist families to change. You'll be motivated and resilient and able at times to work under pressure and in a busy environment.
We do ask that you have Dip SW, CQSW, or recognised equivalent professional qualification.

Because of the nature of this job, it will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken.
