To provide and support the delivery of high standard social work practice. To manage a caseload of children and young people, assessing the need for services, providing and identifying effective support and intervention, co-producing plans with families that will meet their needs, and reviewing plans to ensure they are effective. To provide and support high quality social work practice with increasing decision making autonomy in situations of increasing complexity, risk, uncertainty and challenge.
There are 4 Social Work Practitioner posts, 3 in Goole and one in Beverley. Both posts are in the Strengthening and Supporting Families teams, which is where we support families in the long term. This includes undertaking Section 17 assessments, Child Protection, PLO and private and public court proceedings.
