Who are we looking for ?

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee and manage the transportation, distribution, and delivery of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What will you be doing ?

Coordinate and schedule shipments of chemical products to ensure timely delivery to customers while optimizing transportation costs.
Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to arrange transportation and track shipments.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
Develop and maintain relationships with transportation partners to negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements.
Prepare shipping documentation, including bills of lading, export/import documentation, and customs clearance paperwork.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for the transportation and handling of chemical products, including safety and environmental regulations.
Investigate and resolve any transportation issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments.
Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
Provide support to the sales and customer service teams regarding shipment status, delivery updates, and any transportation-related inquiries from customers.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, purchasing, and sales teams, to coordinate logistics activities and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of transportation modes, including trucking, ocean freight, and air freight, as well as customs regulations and international shipping practices.
Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS).
